The turrets in question are central to Patch 1.6's non instanced gameplay, particularly for new dynamic world events known as Onslaughts. In these, planar invaders attempt to take over certain "Sourcewells," which you must then swtor credits defend using a series of turrets. "You use your planar charges to level up these turrets," Hanlin says. "Some are offensive turrets and some are healing turrets, so you can build up an area as a defensive strongpoint and then defend it yourself if you're soloing." Survival, he swtor credit points out, is then a case of positioning yourself between the defensive and healing turrets without letting yourself get overrun by the invaders. If you're not careful, he says, you'll have to contend with far more invaders than you can handle alone. "Onslaughts are basically your way of telling the game to bring it on," Hanlin says.
While Hanlin says that the raid for Ember Isle is still in the works, Patch 1.6 will also include a new five-man dungeon known as the Caduceus Rise at launch. I wasn't able to play the dungeon myself during the preview event on Wednesday, but I've been able to see enough of it on the Public Test Shard since yesterday to know that it's a gorgeous place worth spending many hours in. "This is a nonlinear dungeon," Hanlin says, "so you can buy swtor credits take whichever patch you want to reach your goal." It's also massive. Not only is Caduceus Rise Rift's largest five-man dungeon to date in size alone, it also features a whopping 11 bosses and two expert modes in addition to the normal mode.
